Account Director - Acquisition

Research, contact and develop positive relationships in the region across the Resources/Energy and Utilities industries Builds, monitors and orchestrates sales pipeline activities, focusing on generating new initiatives leveraging BTs portfolio of products and services Build and own the holistic customer/BT plans for targeted customers detailing critical insights and new business opportunities Execute sales cycle to penetrate the most promising new logo accounts Establish strong professional relationships and creditability with key IT and business executives Influence and lead a virtual team of resources from various support functions and geographies to execute against plan Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the industry to maximize value offered to customers A strong sales and business background, with 5-10 years of technology-related experience Strong, documented track record of achievement against quota and driving new business sales Have a growth mindset. Seeks to solve for difficult customer challenges. Proven ability to lead, build trust quickly and be highly credible across levels of organizations. Knowledge of the Resources/Energy and Utilities industries is beneficial to provide confident proposals to C-level and business decision makers. Excellent relationship, presentation and communication skills; well versed and at home with clients in all manner of scenarios across the sales lifecycle.
