Ant Financial Head of R&D on Biometric

The employer is from the Integration - Legal affairs sector. Build and lead a small team of researchers and engineers in the area of biometric. Work closely with senior management and business partners to define research strategies and deliver world-class R&D results. 2、Conducting research on algorithms of face recognition, text image OCR and other computer vision area, as well as participating in development and implementation of applied systems using such algorithms. 3、Main tasks and responsibilities include but not limited to analysis of business requirements, design and implementation of algorithms, mining and management of massive training data, training and optimization of deep learning models, evaluation and report of algorithm performance, online deployment of algorithms and optimization of online systems. 4、Build the relationship between Ant Financial and universities, industry and government in the region by participating in relevant forums and standard bodies. Through these activities, the person will also be able to identify and interpret trends in Biometric and identification technology, develop local market intelligence and solve challenging problems for financial business. 1、A successful career as a research or engineering leader with minimum of 5 years of experience. Widely recognized by the industry and/or academia. 2、Master degree and above (PhD preferred) majoring in computer science, computer engineering or a related area. At least 8 years of experience on algorithm design and development. 3、Familiar with principles and algorithms of machine learning. Having deep understanding and hands-on experience of deep learning algorithms, as well as experience of constructing large-scale algorithmic systems using mainstream deep learning tools such as caffe, tensorflow, pytorch, and etc 4、Familiar with image processing and computer vision, understanding every step in the whole algorithmic chain of face recognition and text image OCR. Ever took charge of or participated in development of large-scale algorithms of face recognition or text image OCR, and the developed algorithms have wide and influential application in practice. 5、Familiar with at least one of C or C++ or Java programming languages. Experience of python programing is also preferred. 6、Good logical mind, business sense and abilities of oral/written presentation. Strong communication and management skills. 7、Publications on top-level international academic conferences or journals on computer vision are preferred. Experience of turning developed technologies into large-scale business applications is preferred.
