Deputy Director (Business Development)

The employer is an University. Devise a strategic framework to establish IREUS as a widely recognized and respected thought leader on Asian and global real estate issues, by connecting rigorous and high impact academic research achievements to governments, real estate related industries, business communities and other stakeholders of IREUS. Develop and execute the business strategy and revenue model for IREUS’ industry outreach, stakeholders’ engagement and fundraising in Asia. Innovate high impact, high profile landmark platforms for effective engagement of real estate and business leaders in Asia. Upscale IREUS capabilities in facilitating real estate business development, industry growth and excellence in Asia. Build a strong IREUS network and active database of business and real estate leaders in Asia. Identify new markets for strategic expansion and in so doing, broaden IREUS network and reach. Cultivate both public and private sector support for IREUS in terms of philanthropy, research grants, sponsorships, event sales etc. Professional background with minimum 10 years of senior management, fund raising and business development/promotion experience. Proven administrative skills, with experience equivalent in role/capacity as a COO. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and execute programs successfully. Ability to plan, prioritize and execute multiple simultaneous projects Demonstrated maturity and confidence to engage corporate customers at senior executive levels. Personable with excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Persuasive persona and ability to rally people at the senior level Demonstrated proficiency in Mandarin to engage the Chinese speaking markets will be considered favorably. Candidates with existing client base will be considered favorably.
