Head, SAP.iO Foundry Singapore

Gain support internally across business units and with key executives and pro-actively look for and champion ways that the SAP ecosystem, partners, and customers can help add value to the programs and startups Design and project manage the SAP.iO Foundry Singapore’s programs, including overseeing and driving the day-to-day SAP.iO Foundry Singapore operations Act as a conduit for SAP and the startups by connecting, introducing, and leading resources and people to the program and those stakeholders involved Drive final review of companies selected to participate and receive services Recruit external experts and internal mentors for the program, and ensure that they are engaged and supporting startups Drive the development of “Demo Days” and coordinate executive participation to drive mentorship, customer introductions, and organizational support Coordinate activities with the broader SAP.iO organization, including other regional SAP.iO Foundry activities (e.g., Berlin, New York City, Paris, San Francisco, Tel Aviv) Provide additional support for other areas of SAP.iO, including support for community engagement, deal sourcing, and input on SAP.iO Fund investments, especially in the Singapore area. Required skills Have an extensive network and direct connections to high-level technology executives, venture capital funds, startups and partners in the Singapore ecosystem Significant previous work with the entrepreneurship, startup, accelerator, venture capital, corporate investment, etc. communities A good understanding or desire to work with startups, the Singapore ecosystem, and VC/Angel investing communities Master of Business Administration (MBA), advanced degree or equivalent experience Self-motivated and proactive in the working environment; proven ability to work with speed and accuracy to deadlines is essential Deep understanding of emerging technologies and ability to evaluate the strategic impact for the organization Preferred skills Deep understanding of how large corporations operate internally, their cultures, and what it takes to get things done when multiple business units and executives are involved The ability to quickly build relationships and convey influence when needed at all levels, to resolve conflicts and maintain direction Effective written, verbal and presentation and communication skills at executive to project team levels Passion for innovation WORK EXPERIENCE At least 10 years’ prior experience working on projects across business units and a demonstrated success interfacing across multiple divisions of the organization
