Senior Manager / Manager (Finance related Systems)

The employer is an University. The candidate will be responsible for IT projects delivery in area of SAP implementation, managing established project goals and objectives, developing and implementing project management guidelines, managing project standards, project scope, timeline, risk identification and mitigation, quality management, project budget, reporting and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. He/she needs to work closely with the user community, external vendors, and other stakeholders. Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent. At least 10 years within IT industry, inclusive of at least 3 years in SAP Functional (FICO) role, and at least 7 years’ experience in project management inclusive of one or more complete cycles for large scale IT project implementation in S/4HANA for Financials. Knowledge in one or more of the following SAP modules/components will be an added advantage: Treasury, Risk and Cash Management, Concur and Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC). Familiar in the Finance and Procurement related business domains. Good grasp of IT technologies, methodologies, architectures, and best practices. Strong business process and analytical skills with the ability to assimilate information quickly, and communicate complex requirements and issues clearly and concisely. The ability to understand the business questions that users are trying to answer is essential. Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of management, users and vendors. Must be a self-starter and able to work independently with minimum supervision. Must be a good team player, proactive in nature, fast learner, highly organized and positive attitude. Certification in PMP and/or SAP Activate will be required. Experience in Higher Education industry is a bonus.
