Senior Manager, Secretariat (2-year Contract)

Your key responsibilities include assisting Head of the Department to manage the functions of the corporate secretariat department, ensure regulatory compliance with listing manual, Companies Act and other requirements, maintain best practices, standards and corporate governance aspects, prepare meeting papers, resolutions and minutes, arrange board and shareholders' meetings, and handle announcements. The role includes managing and maintaining corporate secretarial records and providing support to the boards of directors and management of the companies in your portfolio. You will also support the General Counsel in all aspects of secretariat and compliance, participate in new initiatives and ad-hoc projects assigned by her. You will be leading a team and your role therefore includes providing continuous supervision and staff development for an effective and motivated team. Corporate secretarial qualification (ICSA) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) At least 8 years’ relevant experience in corporate secretarial matters Experience in providing in-house corporate secretarial support in either a public listed MNC or subsidiary of a public listed MNC is preferred Excellent written and communication skills Conscientious and meticulous, good organisational skills and experience, able to work well under pressure Excellent team player with commitment and drive to succeed in an enterprising corporate environment
