Finance Director - External Supply UGS
The employer is from Pharma sector. Lead the ES finance organizations and proactively manage, coach and develop talent to ensure high engagement, bench-strength and succession planning. Monitor and ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial results. Ensure timely and accurate completion of forecasts. Accountable for strengthening the control environment at the sites to ensure adherence with accounting policies and internal controls. Work with the ES LT to highlight positive examples of compliance (finance and non-finance) Implement continuous improvement strategies to leverage standard ERP platforms and drive best practice. Establish and lead a partnership with GFS to proactively and collaboratively work on end to end process execution. Align and work closely with local Finance teams. Preparation of ES annual operating plan and Long Range Plan in accordance with format and timelines. Assist business partners to ensure objectives are achieved Serve as a strategic advisor to optimize the financial impact to Upjohn in relation to the expansive volume, supply contracts, buy vs. make decisions, take or pay structures, transformation initiatives, and finance/costing implications Serve as a champion of innovation and continuous improvement efforts within the business Foster an open communication environment to ensure transparency and alignment with finance and business partners Effectively lead and influence our operational partners (ES OpU, Procurement, UGS BD, Quality, etc.) and finance community (GFS, Tax, Controllers, Audit, Commercial Finance) Align and support TSA’s with Pfizer to ensure the commitments are understood and met Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Engineering Advanced degree preferred (MBA/CPA) 10 years in financial roles involving product cost analysis, financial analysis, planning and reporting – contract manufacturing finance and supply chain financing experience is a plus Leadership experience with strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills Proven ability to lead and manage change Ability to lead a geographically diverse team
