Head of Communications, South East Asia

The company is part of the R&D organization and has as its prime goal to review and protect the IP created within R&D. The company also work closely with the legal organization in patent litigation and licensing questions. Lead communications for Spotify across our SEA markets including Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan and Hong Kong Drive consumer awareness and excitement through creative press, publisher & influencer campaigns and targeted speaker opportunities Build on Spotify’s role as music industry thought leader Work in close coordination with marketing, label relations, shows & editorial, analytics, ad sales, premium, customer services and user comms Support local artist & marketing campaigns in line with global and local direction Event management Media training Internal communications 8 years relevant experience in consumer technology, entertainment or digital media communications. Consumer technology communications experience would be an advantage A proven ability to create and drive successful communications campaigns In depth knowledge & experience of the Indonesian / Philippines / Thailand media landscape Strong agency management skills Influencer management Passion for music and technology Media relationships
