Associate Director, Product Execution (Associate Director)

The employer is a bank. As Product Owner (PO) develop, execute and maintain the product platform ( including new products and technology), processes, and drive change in partnership with the Product Heads and IT Drive execution and delivery of a front to back order management (order capture, execution and booking) platform focusing on FX and Fixed Income ( FI) asset classes. o Responsible for successful delivery of Projects and management of their interdependencies, including oversight of risks and issues o Define scope and direction of each Project with a focus on FX and Fixed Income and successfully accomplish the objectives of each Project in alignment with key stakeholders o Partner with technology project manager and business engineer to jointly deliver platform roadmap, enhancements, changes and projects. Provide business input on requirements, workflows, process flows etc. as appropriate in a clear and concise manner, support requirements prioritization (“must have” items vs. “good to have”) decisions based on the value they would bring to the bank. Be the SME for FX and FI and represent Product Head in various cross functional initiatives across the Bank Lead, influence and collaborate with business users across department’s i.e IAS, Front Office BMs, Operations, Finance, MRM etc. to gather, review and validate business requirements and define new process flows. Conduct periodic briefings to senior management on progress of technology projects, from the business perspective. Highlight issues that require resolution. Review technology plans and design specifications, to ensure business requirements are met and that benefits will be delivered. Banking and Financial services experience preferably within capital markets, private banking, wealth management with basic understanding of financial products, product lifecycle, order management (order capture, execution, and booking). Experience in delivering and/or supporting projects covering financial software which includes working on at least one trade flow related project for asset classes FX and Fixed income. Previous roles as business lead, business project manager, product manager, product owner or product specialist with considerable project and platform experience. Business case development, financial analysis/modeling, project paper development, documentation and knowledge management, vendor and contract management. Must have good stakeholder management, collaboration, presentation and group facilitation skills. Exposure to both agile and waterfall project management methodologies; product management experience in developing roadmaps, milestones, epics, user stories, backlogs and BRD will be a day to day activity already, processes and ceremonies around these known like the back of one’s hand.
