Chief DevOps Engineer
The company is a leading bank. Oversee DevOps practices and execution of high-impact, enterprise-wide strategic technology programs and initiatives Lead DevOps efforts and work with Development teams to define, implement, and roll out the DevOps components they need Design, build and standardize CI/CD pipelines Direct optimizations of daily technology operation, applications, services and systems Develop and maintain the overall technology roadmap and set the direction for Information Technology Services regarding future environments and platforms Set and manage the policies, standards and principles to guide technology decisions Deploy and maintain custom, team-specific DevOps solutions Join DevOps Committee in researching solutions, evaluating designs, improving systems, and working with contractors/vendors on solution selection and implementation Writing functional requirements/specifications documents Building enterprise devops roadmaps and demonstrate experience as the engineer on many large projects. Use experience in architecting, designing, developing, integrating, and managing complex software and systems solutions 8 years of progressively responsible experience engineering, automating, architecting, designing, developing; leading and/or supervising technical staff; and developing enterprise strategies and roadmaps Experience with modern DevOps and technologies Experience preparing, presenting and explaining high-level designs for management and business sponsors. Experience across various architecture layers: business, application and information technology, as well as different types of architecture such as domain, reference, solution and enterprise Forward thinking: able to explore alternatives and anticipate implications of solutions. Expert-level knowledge in automating enterprise-class applications Experience System/Application migration and modernization, including concepts such as virtualization and containerization The ability to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical individuals JIRA, Bitbucket (GIT), Jenkins, Artifactory etc. Configuration and deployment tools experience – Ansible, SaltStack, Chef, Puppet etc. Strong scripting skills – Python, Bash, JavaScript, Ruby Cloud computing deployment and management experience – AWS, Azure, gCloud, Container Management and container orchestration – Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm.
