Deputy Manager of Investment Banking
A well-known leading foreign wholesale bank, Singapore Branch is looking for Deputy Manager at Investment Banking (IB) RESPONSIBILITIES A transaction team member in the origination, execution, underwriting, and placement of IB projects. Origination of IB transactions Undertake preliminary assessment of IPO and/or Debt Issuance Feasibility of potential clients and discuss with the Deputy Head or Head of IB Prepare marketing presentation materials Prepare IBC papers to seek name clearance before seeking mandate from clients Execution of IB transactions as a principal transaction officer Liaise with client on regular basis, prepare kick-off kit and mandate letters for execution Attend working meetings, review draft prospectuses Handle issues related to transaction in consultation with a Deputy Head or Head of IB Liaise with SGX review officers, prepare submission documents to SGX-ST Attend meetings with the MAS on specific transactions where required Work with IB Administrative officer on logistics for IPO launch Liaise with other departments on IB matters where required Underwriting and Placement activities Perform peer group analysis of IPO and/or Debt Issuance Candidates as an input to pricing Arrange for clients to meet with potential institutional investors at closed-door sessions during book-building Prepare IBC papers on underwriting and placement commitments Liaise with solicitors, company and other financial institutions in preparation for underwriting and placement agreements, including sub-underwriting or sub-placement agreement Assist in contacting potential places Check to ensure that final place list numbers tally with issue parameters Monitor subscription levels and keep IBC members informed Prepare balloting spreadsheet and announcement Others Comply with applicable rules and regulations in undertaking the above activities Instruct Administrative officer to invoice and follow up with client on settlement Other tasks as assigned by Head of IB from time to time REQUIREMENTS Degree majoring in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related discipline 3 to 5 years of Investment Banking or relevant experience Team player with positive attitude and commitment Effectively bilingual Willing and able to travel at short notice If you think you fit the above criteria and wishes to apply for the role, email your CV (in .doc format) to ywzingmi.com, wzmzingmi.com or ltzingmi.com
