Director, Commercial Marketing - Family

The employer is a hotel business. Develops an annual integrated marketing and communications plan with specific goals and budget as outline in the hotel's and business / functions strategic marketing plan. Prepares roadmap to achieve goals, in conjuction with AVP, and execute strategies to achieve business goals and targets Develop marketing stratgies that resonate with key markets / target audience to deliver brand awarenes campaigns, tactitcal campaigns, brand amplification, loyalty program support Oversees the communications plan, database management, content creation and management across all hotel platforms and channels websites, social media platforms, review sites, etc Maximizes the marketing budget including advertising, activations, sponsorships, partnerships, asset creation including photography, printed collaterals and giveaway premiums in line with the hotels' goals and objectives Works with AADC, AVP and hotel senior management on communications to ensure that mesages are clear and consistent and aligned with hotel / resort / family unit's business strategy and Shangri-La's overall messaging Builds and maintains relationships with key local decision makers and local community to promote positive sentiment and publicity of the hotel Works with AADC and AVP Communications to create family publicity outreach program to maintain effective media coverage of business / function in local and key markets through distribution of press releases and newsworthy articles, media and influencer hosting programs and engagement Serves as family spokeperson, when appointed by General Manager, to make all official marketing activation statements for business / function to media Initiates, identifies and reviews family partnership and sponsorship opportunities in line with regional and family goals and objectives Actively support business / function related programs including training and CSR Identify and execute social media strategies aligning with regional marketing / area / brand as needed to increase engagement and postive sentiment in local and key markets An experienced leader with more than 8 to 10 years of family / kids marketing experience Proven track record of success and previous experience of achieving business goals and objectives, experienced in managing budgets Strategic, collaborative and highly driven for results Has a solid understanding of social trends and the digital media landscape Good presentation and influencing skills
