Director of Supply Chain

The employer is an established US Medical Devices organization, poised for international growth with first stop being the establishment of an APAC Leadership team, to be based in Singapore. As part of a critical member of the APAC leadership team, you will be responsible for establishing and ensuring the smooth running of the Supply Chain organization within the APAC region. You will work Head Office in the US, and with the local country operations to ensure process optimization and consistencies, best in class practices, whilst keeping a keen eye on cost management. You will provide value added advice to in-country General Managers and senior management team, and ensure regional initiatives are effectively cascaded and implemented (with local customization as necessary) within their organizations. Ideally, you are a seasoned professional in supply chain, logistics, operations and/or customer service. Prior industry experience (i.e. pharmaceutical and medical devices) are required in this role. A proven track record of holding senior leadership positions in Supply Chain should be evident in your track record. Highly collaborative and an excellent business partner, you work well in start-up and/or sometimes fluid, matrixed organisations. As this is a start-up role, high doses of energy and being resourceful is expected of the role.
