Head of Mergers & Acquisitions (based in Hong Kong)

A global financial services firm with a history of extensive inorganic growth. This is a high profile role where the successful candidate will work closely with the senior leadership team, Exco and Board to drive, refine and execute the M&A strategic plans. This involves actively sourcing potential targets, driving and leading the full acquisition and transaction cycle, closing the transaction and ensuring successful post closure integration. You have excellent academic qualifications and 10- 15 years of M&A experience, either in an advisory practice or in a corporate M&A role or combination of both. Extensive experience executing transactions in Asia is mandatory, with some exposure in Europe an advantage. Having a strong network across the globe is an advantage as the firm aims to enter new jurisdictions and expand service capabilities. You are commercially astute, have superior analytical skills and thrive in a fast-paced and fluid environment. An outstanding communicator with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, you work effectively with internal and external deal parties, ensuring smooth transaction completion. As this a global role, frequent travel is expected.
