Head Principal - International School

The company is a newly setup international school with a strong business presence in China, well backed up by an investment group. Reporting to the Committee Board, the Head Principal will be responsible for running this newly established international school from the pre-launch stage. With the school covering the full spectrum of education level from kindergarten to secondary school, the Head Principal will be supervising a number of Vice Principals of their respective specializations, together with a strong teaching and supporting team to provide overall direction of running the school with state-of-the-art international education standard. In addition, you will act as the key school ambassador so as to best attract and recruit the best local and expat students from the Greater China region. To qualify, you will ideally have a master/doctorate degree in education with solid experience in running an international school at secondary school level. You should be familiar with international education standards and curriculum so as to cultivate the best practices within the organization. While excellent leadership quality and international vision are critical, you should demonstrate a strong passion and sensitivity to a multicultural environment, particularly the Chinese culture and value. Familiarity with modern STEM- and communication-based teaching approaches will be required. Excellent command of English is a must and fluency in Mandarin is preferred.
