HR Director

The employer is a specialist executive search firm covering corporate functional roles. Focusing on accounting and finance, legal, risk and compliance, human resources, sales and marketing jobs, our specialist search consultants work on roles in Singapore and across Asia Pacific.  Partner with Area Vice Presidents and Managing Directors in assigned markets and act as a collaborative HR business partner on all People and Organization matters pertaining to senior leadership in the defined markets, while ensuring that human resources initiatives support the business objectives and operating needs and comply with laws and regulations and company policies. Provide strategic HR direction, solutions, advice, guidance and support to leadership to facilitate the accomplishment of business objectives. Represent HR in all business reviews and budgeting processes. Deliver a strong employment brand proposition aligned with a contemporary mindset. Create a Company Culture of engagement that enhances a climate of strategic involvement for a multi-generation work force. Establish the Human Resources function as a catalyst for creatively connecting all Associates to our global strategies through its Communications strategies. Conduct organization and talent reviews to make decisions on needs based on the business strategies. Manage the programs and processes for attracting, developing, rewarding, recognizing and retaining talent. Ensure effective performance management and development processes are in place to manage performance and grow talent. In executing HR strategies, collaborate with and utilize Worldwide Human Resources functional disciplines (such as Compensation & Benefits, Talent Development, Global Mobility, etc.) Demonstrate advocacy in implementing global people strategies by positioning and communicating local programs that are aligned with global Human Resources programs including performance management, compensation (salary planning, incentive programs), recognition programs, benefits and other human resources initiatives.   Related Bachelor's Degree Minimum of 10 years of related human resources experience with at least 5 years of senior level HR generalist experience, preferably in a worldwide environment
