Redstone Commodity Search are working with an international oil trading company seeking an oil derivatives trader for their offices in Singapore. Key Responsibilities / Tasks Responsible for managing a derivatives trading book of middle distillate/oil contracts (swaps, options, futures, etc.) Market making oil contracts and managing risk on the oil book by creating and implementing hedging strategies for crude, gasoline, diesel, marine, fuel oil, gasoil, naphtha etc. Accountable for fundamental, S&D driven analysis and trading risk monitoring Working closely with commodity analysts and trading risk analysts to ensure profitable and minimised risk book Role reports into the Head of Trading Key Qualifications / Experience Minimum 5 years’ experience trading energy derivatives contracts (swaps, futures, options, etc.) preferably in oil Transferable book of business would be an advantage Proven personable PnL track record Excellent understanding of global oil markets including crude, gasoline, diesel, marine, fuel oil, gasoil, naphtha, etc. Located in and eligible to work in Singapore
