Relationship Manager (Senior Associate), IBG India Desk - IBG- Corporate & Investment Banking

Business Function Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Responsibilities Understand clients’ requirements for DBS India corporate clients with business in Singapore and rest of Asia and recommend a viable financing solution. Assist the Senior Relationship Manager to manage and engage client relationship by working together with the respective Global RMs at DBS India as well as dealing directly with the respective clients for their businesses in Singapore and rest of Asia. Provide support to the Senior Relationship Manager to expand DBS India’s corporate client relationship outside India by identifying cross-sell and cross-border opportunities covering their overseas investments, regional treasury centre in Singapore and overseas Capital Markets fund raising covering equity capital markets and debt capital markets. Demonstrate an understanding of the client’s business needs as well as an ability to generate solutions and procure support from product groups. Ensure timely submission of RFP, pitches, meeting deal execution timelines, credit memos and supervision reports. Identify pertinent credit related issues and assess risk mitigants. Prepare financial models with P&L, balance sheet and cash-flow projections based on sound business and market assumptions. Proactive monitoring and management of accounts; alert to credit deterioration or improvement, and taking timely action including elevation to senior bankers and credit. Assist in loan and security documentation negotiations . Requirements Minimum of 3 to 5 years relevant experience in similar capacity. Degree holder in Finance, Economics or related discipline. Good knowledge of accounting and finance and strong credit analytical skills. Good understanding of the bank’s suite of products and services. Results-oriented, resourceful and good business connections in identifying and developing business opportunities.
