Senior Staff - Analog Mixed Signal Design Engineer

The employer is from ELECTRONICS sector. Be responsible for the Analog Mixed Signal IC development as a Technical Lead, mainly based on CMOS technology for applications focusing on switch mode power supply controllers (ACDC) Derive module and chip level verification plan, perform all functional and performance simulations (including pre/post layout and corner cases) Interface with Test, Application, Marketing, Project Managers and Concept engineers to successfully bring new products from concept to release to production Involve in circuit concept development based on system specification and to come up with effective development plan Provide layout support to layout engineer, top level module simulation, silicon debugging if required Responsible for post silicon validation and characterization support Work closely with digital designers and define the interface circuits to the digital blocks in the IC Master's / Bachelor's Degree with minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Analog & Mixed Signal power IC designs Hands-on experience in Mixed signal design such in bandgap, amplifier, and both linear and switched regulator, ADC / DAC and Oscillators Understanding in ACDC controller systems and SMPS applications Familiar with IC design simulation tools such as Spectre and AMS. Additional knowledge in circuit abstraction tools such as Verilog-A will be preferred Strong background in layout consideration especially for critical Analog circuits Strong knowledge in wide area of Mixed Signal Power IC designs and ACDC SMPS controller IC design will be an added advantage Some background understanding of digital designs, verifications and digital implementation flow Good knowledge in DFT concepts and its implementation considerations Have the passion to develop new and creative ideas with added value Possess strong communication skills and presentation skill especially in technical centric topics Able to work independently and lead in multi-cultural multi sites team setu
