Vice President, Alternative Sales

Key Responsibilities: Identify, design and deliver solutions for a diverse roster of C-suite clients and prospects across Asia-Pacific, with a focus on the hedge fund, private equity and real estate communities Manage the end-to-end sales process including, origination, qualification, pricing, and contract negotiation for a complex set for customisable solutions that spans State Street's regional and global capabilities. Participate in the development and execution of the regional Alternatives sales strategy Develop and maintain relationships with prospective clients and industry consultants across the hedge fund, private equity and real estate communities Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders, including other business lines and corporate functions within State Street Alternative Investment Solutions and State Street Global Markets Provide guidance and consultative input to business line efforts in reaching targets, strengthening client relationships and delivering client solutions Develop and maintain strategic account plans, incorporating business opportunities across State Street's broad capabilities Identify transformational opportunities in the region. Delivery of consistent messaging to clients and prospects Coordinate and engage in executive outreach Ensure that appropriate management information is produced and distributed on a functional and regional basis Requirements: Qualified candidates will have prior client relationship management experience in financial services. In addition: Bachelor's degree in business or related field. Minimum 8 years related experience Proven experience in sales or business development environment, with a focus on fund servicing, execution and/or financing solutions in Asia-Pacific being preferred Proven communication and relationship management experience with strong presentation and language skills. Mandarin and Cantonese preferred. Ability to influence cross-organizational plans, sales efforts, development efforts and organizational priorities Understanding of alternatives strategies and key players in the industry Proven ability to negotiate and influence others Ability to succeed in a team environment
