Vice President, Business Control Consultant

The employer is a leading provider of comprehensive wealth management and investment products and services for individuals, companies, and institutions. Responsibility for regulatory risk management governance across different organizational domains and countries Responsible for Regulatory exam management and coordination across region Owns and drives Risk and controls self assessment (RICSA) and develop an action plan to address, escalate or mitigate identified risks. Incumbent maybe required to co-chair or facilitate risk forum meetings from time to time. Single point ownership of OCC reporting, in coordination with key stakeholders. Oversee the implementation, development and monitoring of processes and controls to ensure compliance with local and global mandates Analyze and challenge existent processes to monitor compliance risk and ensure effective mitigation actions are in place Lead regulatory risk identification initiatives to ensure adequate processes are executed for regulatory change management and responsiveness Drive quality control initiatives to ensure effectiveness of internal controls and risk resolution efforts Develop actionable cadence and mediums to ensure escalation and awareness among senior leadership Information technology/systems, risk management, banking operations, finance or equivalent experience preferred Ability to identify risk, analyze, debate and propose solutions Understanding of regulatory risk management and Asia Pacific regulations preferred Experience in leading programs for proactively identifying regulatory risk exposure and potential non-conformance areas Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present to senior stakeholders Strong excel and power point skills Experienced in using risk management tools and frameworks an added advantage Ability to lead and perform thematic risk reviews, risk self-assessments, issue analysis Ability to assess and analyze the overall risk landscape; evaluate and escalate key issues Ability to collaborate with team and management, multi-task, initiate and adapt to change, work well under pressure, problem solve and accept challenging assignments
