Head of Innovation Lab (Executive Director/Managing Director)

The employer is from IT sector. Reporting to the Global Chief Operating Officer, this senior leader is part of the new Innovation Team that is focused on delivering on key principles behind innovation – leadership, creating networks, harnessing Voice of the Customer in idea development, leverage the right incentives, and building/running an effective, transparent, and efficient innovation process across Bank of Singapore. Part of a new central team within the bank, the candidate must be a digital native who is familiar with new and emerging technologies and trends. As an Innovation Enabler, the Head of Innovation will manage the innovation process that identifies strategies, business opportunities and new/emerging technologies so that innovation is encouraged and promoted in Bank of Singapore. Experience in managing a high performance interdisciplinary team is preferred as the candidate will lead an interdisciplinary team made up of business and technology innovation enablers to develop a culture of Innovation and Entrepreneurship (internal startups) within the bank. He or she will identify, lead and manage innovative approaches to business challenges and work with teams across the bank to deliver customer centric products and services that generate revenue, enhance client experience and/or improve efficiency. However, the development of the innovation solution is not within the scope of this role as the Innovation Process for each concept/idea will be undertaken by the Internal Startups where the concept/idea originates from.
